Care and maintenance guidelines for Basaltina®

Surface care and protection

Avoid direct contact with sharp tools or metal objects that may scratch or mark the surface. Always use suitable supports during processing.

Scratch and abrasion prevention

To keep the surface in its best condition, lift objects rather than dragging them. Protective pads on the base of accessories help preserve its original appearance.

Heat Exposure

Although this material is naturally resistant to high temperatures, we recommend using trivets or insulating bases to avoid thermal shock and potential surface alterations.

Routine cleaning

Clean using neutral detergents and soft cloths. Avoid aggressive, acidic, or alkaline products, as well as abrasive tools that may damage the stone.

Stain management

Remove spills promptly, especially wine, coffee, oil, or acidic agents, to reduce the risk of absorption and staining.

Surface treatments

Only use products specifically formulated for natural stone. Any extraordinary maintenance should be carried out using compatible professional products.
